Verizon Wireless and Motorola have now made the Motorola Droid official, revealing that the phone will offer Android 2.0 and more.
Verizon Wireless recently announced that the carrier would soon offer Android phones, and leaks have suggested that the first phone will be the Motorola Droid. Through a marketing campaign, Verizon Wireless now reveals (and confirms) a range of key features of the Motorola Droid here.

Should be a fine phone. I do wish though that it not have the slideout thumbboard. On screen keyboards are much better IMO. I have had both.
I think this is Verizon’s answer to an upgraded G1. There are also a lot of other phones coming out without keyboards and I think both should be in the market because it’s totally user preference. I have a G1 and a myTouch and generally prefer the onscreen keyboard when using both phones but there are some things in terminal mode that a myTouch just cannot do easily where a keyboard is much nicer.
